ES Plate Fin
Type ES is the finned heat exchanger with extended surface plate, the industry leader for intercooler and aftercooler performance. The patented unique compact plate fin design provides distinguished cooling of large air volumes with low-pressure drops, resulting in less energy consumption.
PERFORMANCE NOTES
- * The compact package provides maximum heat transfer in minimal space.
- * The pipes are continuously supported by the plate fins along their entire length, providing a vibration-free design.
- * Continuous silicone rubber seals located above and below the tube bundle prevent mixing of inlet and outlet gases.
- * Integrated moisture separation eliminates the need for an external device.
- * Easy access to tubes for maintenance and cleaning.
- * There are also HF type heat exchangers, which withstand higher pressures on the shell side due to larger diameters and material choices.

Dimensions: Diameter between 20" and 120"; length between 3' and 35'
Shells: Carbon steel or 304 stainless steel
Tubes: Available in 3/8" or 5/8" diameter carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, admiralty, 90/10 copper-nickel, or 70/30 copper-nickel, or as per customer's technical specifications.
Fins:
- * Aluminum, coated aluminum, or copper
- * Fin spacing options of 8 and 20 per inch
Flow: Typically available in 2-pass or 4-pass design, or other dual-pass option. Certifications: ASME, TEMA-C, B, and R - PED. Chinese CML - Korea KFR
