Hairpin - Mrt Process

A hairpin design is more thermally efficient than a traditional shell and tube, reducing both initial costs and total weight. Our experienced designers and engineers can accommodate any private cooling needs.

PERFORMANCE NOTES

  • * Ideal for applications requiring high thermal performance.
  • * The correct countercurrent flow provides the desired temperature approach between the shell side and tube side fluids, and also delivers good temperature shock.
  • * Removable bundles allow space for necessary cleaning beside the body and tube, with generally two closure options.
  • * When feasible for a fixed tube line design, fixed assemblies are a cost-effective choice.
  • * Ease of maintenance due to the long U-tube radius.
  • * All connections are on one end of the heat exchanger.
  • * Diameter up to 150 cm (60 inches) and length up to 480 inches (1200 cm).
  • * Among the materials, there are carbon steel, series 300 stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, copper alloy, chrome-moly alloys, Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, 254 SMO, alloy-coated/welded.
  • * Designed and manufactured according to ASME, TEMA, CRN, PED, CML.

Removable Bundle Tube Heat Exchangers

  • * Double Tube Bundle Removable: Type SCDP
  • * It utilizes the most common separate head feature in the industry.
  • * The shell side and tube side are separately connected by bolts, making it ideal for applications containing large temperature or pressure differences between the shell and tube side fluids.
  • * In cyclic services, separate gasketed covers are more leak-proof compared to shell and tube designs.
  • * Separate shell configuration and tube side gasket. This facilitates disassembly, cleaning, and tube bundle replacement.
  • * It is highly suitable for large flow imbalances on the shell side.
  • * With minimal pressure drop, long fins are used to provide high thermal performance.

  • * A detachable unique cover: Type CC
  • * It utilizes the most common separate head characteristics in the sector.
  • * The shell side and the tube side are linked separately by the bolt, making it ideal for applications containing large temperature or pressure differences between the shell and the side liquids of the tube.
  • * In cyclic services, separate seal covers are more leak-proof compared to shell and tube designs.
  • * Configuration of separate shell and side tube seal. This facilitates disassembly, cleaning, and changing of the tube assembly.
  • * It is very suitable for large flow imbalances on the shell.
  • * With minimal pressure drop, long fins are used to provide high thermal performance.

DISMANTLABLE PIPE BUNDLE EXCHANGERS

  • * All-Welded Hairpin: Type AW
  • * When a detachable bundle is not necessary, the more cost-effective design
  • * Fixed sheet tube construction
  • * Coated Pipe: Type JP
  • * The most economical solution for any heat transfer application
