The fully welded plate pack, and the interior joints that may or may not have an O-ring type joint, provide extraordinary corrosion resistance. Mrt Process heat exchangers feature corrugated plates that produce significant turbulence flow in the true countercurrent direction. The result is a highly compact design. Due to smaller dimensions and reduced material content, Platech welded plate heat exchangers may be the most economical choice for heat transfer.
The standard design incorporates all pipe connections found in heat exchangers. This reduces installation and maintenance costs. It is supplied ready to use with its connections. Thus, it eliminates labor costs and support for packaged equipment.
Mrt Process welded plate heat exchangers have narrow flow channels and minimum liquid volume. Due to its productivity, you will not need to choose the high-performance Chiller cooling group."
The heat exchanger is designed with computer-aided design and with the rotating "chevron pattern" between the plates, and consists of plates that contain grooves. This provides a powerful and unified structure. There are two options to include the welded plate pack in the compression plates. The openings of the plate pack are joined at the spray ends of the compression plates, or they are used for variable temperature fluctuations. The seal between the plate pack and the compression plates is provided with a high-resistance sealing material such as Viton and Kalrez, and EPDM as standard. Seals from other technologies are eliminated.
Platech Sigma Wig welded heat exchangers can be used at temperatures below -20°C and above 250°C. The operating pressure is 30 bars. It can be used for heat transfer of liquids that may exceed the seal resistance and for hazardous flows."
